Start at: Victory cross on Lord Mayor's drive Burnham Beeches

Six miles (10K) of testing cross country terrain in the beautiful woodland of Burnham Beeches, near Farnham Common. The race takes advantage of the interesting landscapes in the beeches. Please note the course will be undulating so be prepared for a good test. The route is entirely off public roads and will provide a good way to kick start your winter training!

This race is presented by kind permission of City Of London who own and manage Burnham Beeches National Nature Reserve.

All entrants will receive a medal and goodie bag for completing the distance

Please treat the grounds with respect.

Entry:
You are confirmed as an entrant to the race when your cheque is cashed or you have a confirmation email from any online entry facility. Your race number will be distributed to you on race day.

Final date for entry is Saturday 16th October 2010.

Directions:
The only entrance is via the A355 along Beeches Road to Lord Mayor's Drive

Parking:
A SPECIAL PLEA TO RUNNERS: We endeavour to accept as many runners as possible. However, parking is limited and access difficult, so if possible car share and please arrive early.

Clothing:
There are no changing facilities, so please arrive in running kit. It is advisable to have a selection of warm clothes, and a change of socks/shoes with the possibility of cold, wet weather and a muddy course.

Race No. :
The race number must be attached to the front of your running top. Do not remove the tag as it will be read at the finish. Runners must run with the number allocated to them. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, especially in the event of an accident. This is a condition for entering the race, any runner identified as not doing this will be disqualified and barred from future events. If you lose your number report to the information desk.

Toilets
These are situated near to the main car park

Marshals
The course will be marked with arrows. No signs and you are going wrong! Please obey the marshals’ instructions. They are there for your convenience and safety as any cross country course has many potential risks. Should an accident occur, please ensure that the marshals are informed immediately.

First Aid
First aiders and a doctor will be in attendance at the finish. If you feel unwell, contact a marshal who will arrange help.

Finish
Stay in order once you have crossed the line. Keep moving down the funnel, so your correct time/position can be recorded and to allow your bar code tag to be removed.

Catering
Drinks will be available near the finish after the race. There is also a cafe near the start that will serve more substantial refreshments and snacks

Results
The race results will be posted on this web site within 3 days of the finish

Entry fees will not be refunded even in the event of circumstances beyond our control leading to the cancellation of this event.
